UX/UI/UXR

Within the Body Evolution app there are usability issues that have been observed and identified by customers. The goal of the redesign is to enhance the user experience to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, ease of use and pleasure. By fixing these issues we can enrich customer’s gym experience, and by adding new and improved features we can grow the productivity and use of the app.
Body Evolution, a family-owned gym located in Carlsbad, New Mexico, has flourished into a two-location establishment. With an expanding business, the gym is now venturing into the digital realm, actively engaging with its community by creating their first app.
Body Evolution's company values include: empowering all individuals to prioritize health and well-being by fostering a supportive community, where fitness becomes a fun and inclusive family affair.

Uncertainty about the features of the app arises from a lack of trust and inadequate visual information, including a lack of images, icons and action confirmation.
Disconnect:
The current app lacks mobile optimization and personalized features, customers feel a disconnect from the brand and feel unappreciated as the content on their screens provides ineffectual information.

Intro:
Hello my name is Taylor Weis. I am going to walk you through today's session. As I mentioned over email, I am currently working with Body Evolution to assess the current state of the app. I would like to begin by thanking you for your time, your feedback is valuable, and will help us determine the functionality of the app. Just to confirm, we would like to keep this session to a duration of about 15 minutes. If you need a break just let me know. Be aware that there are no wrong answers and don’t worry about making mistakes. I just ask that you speak out loud as much as possible: describe what you are looking at and what you are attempting to do.
Warm up:
Before we look at the app, tell me about yourself- what is your occupation? What motivates you?
Task completion:
I am going to ask you to respond to the following scenarios. I am going to read each scenario out loud.
Task 1: find a cycling class for next week and book it.
Task 2: add a new debit or credit card payment details.
Task 3: find your personal ID card to scan into the gym.
Task 4: find how many members are currently at the gym.
Follow up:
What are your thoughts on these concepts?
Earlier you said ____ can you elaborate?
Wrap up:
Are there any final comments or thoughts you have?
Thank you for your time
I combined visual appeal with user experience, ensuring our design not only looks great but feels intuitive, creating a positive journey. Every element and detail was crafted with a purpose, enhancing the user's interaction and making their experience truly enjoyable.

This is for context to view the areas of improvement and rework. These are the original app frames, not my work.
