Overview & Problem
The Cookie Bar is a dynamic and confectionery-focused online establishment. Guided by the philosophy that exceptional cookies warrant no specific occasion, the brand is dedicated to embracing the present and commemorating each season with distinctive and thoughtfully crafted recipes.

The problem with The Cookie Bar was the limited flavor discovery, it was difficult to find exciting cookie flavors and a variety of options. Another issue being the complexity of the ordering process and the inconsistency of the design.
Solution
The solution is to enhance the user experience and user interface of the Cookie Bar app. Doing so by seamlessly guiding customers through a personalized experience, fostering a delightful, intuitive journey that encourages repeat engagement and brand loyalty. 

UI Frames

Research is foundational in the creation of a good design. Based on interviews with consumers, we have learned that it is frustrating when they can not easily discover new and exciting cookie flavors or when the ordering process is unmanageable, leading to a less-than-optimal experience. Users were left with disappointment when they had to struggle with an inconvenient app interface that was difficult to explore and order from.


Research Insight

Everyone has unique needs from the app. By understanding their requirements and studying their habits, we can design a better app for our users. 

Persona

1. Stay at home mom: “I need something fun and easy to use, I manage the household and I do not have time to multitask challenges. I need something accommodating and efficient that doesn’t add stress to my day. As a mom to 4 I need larger box options and more customization options for my picky eaters”
2. Elementary teacher: “I need something that offers cost-effective bundles and promotions. Because of my budget constraints I often feel disappointed when there is no option for discount codes. I want to indulge in treats without feeling guilty about the expense.” 
3. Barista: Since I work at a coffee and bakery I would like to know the comprehensive details on ingredients. I want accommodations and customization options based on my dietary needs.”
4. College Student: “I find it difficult to navigate due to a hectic schedule. I do not have the chance to figure out the app with my busy routine.”

Persona Pain Points

In envisioning the future of the Cookie Bar app, I aspire to create a seamless confluence of joy and convenience for users. The app will be a haven for all cookie lovers-be it a college student, a busy professional, or a stay-at-home parent- experiences the pure delight of exploring and experiencing cookies from The Cookie Bar. The goal is for a platform that goes beyond transactions, becoming a cherished companion in moments of celebration, comfort and spontaneity. Doing so through intuitive design, personal experiences, and a commitment to quality.
